Lifetime Member

Permanent membership exempt from annual dues, with lifetime journal subscriptions, substantial conference discounts and priority access to publishing and peer networks.

Lifetime Membership offers permanent exemption from annual dues and protection against future price increases. Members receive lifetime journal subscriptions, substantial discounts on conference registration, and priority access to publishing opportunities and peer networks.

Eligibility is subject to approval by the association's authoritative body, which evaluates each application at its discretion. On approval, members are granted the title Lifetime Member of IARSA to use alongside their name.

  • Approval by the association's authoritative body
  • Aged at least twenty-five, holding a bachelor's degree in any field

Benefits

  • No renewal fees and no exposure to inflation-adjusted dues
  • Free or heavily discounted article processing charges, and access to the journals in digital and print
  • Significant registration discounts for annual meetings, workshops and international summits
  • Participation in national and international workshops, seminars, conferences and faculty development programmes at a preferential rate
  • The right to self-nominate for the association's awards
  • Publication of the member's name, photograph and affiliation on the association's website

How to apply

  1. Application, evaluated at the discretion of the association's authoritative body.
  2. Approved members are listed on the association's website within seven working days and receive a membership certificate.

Terms & fees

  • The one-time subscription for Lifetime Membership is $2,000.
  • Lifetime Members may self-nominate for the Excellence Award but are not eligible for leadership positions in IARSA management, and are given lower priority as resource persons, conveners or moderators.
  • Lifetime Members may upgrade to a higher category, with the subscription already paid adjusted against it.
