The association's own application forms, one for individuals and one for each kind of organisation. Download the form for the membership you are applying for, complete it, and return it to IARSA with the documents it lists.
Before you begin
Complete the form in typescript or black ink. Applications are considered against the eligibility set out on each grade’s own page, so it is worth reading that page first and gathering the certificates, curriculum vitae and identification the form asks for before you start.

Individual Membership Application Form
Every individual grade, from Student Member to Distinguished Fellow. The form itself carries the list of grades to tick.
What it asks for
- Personal details, nationality and country of residence
- The membership grade applied for
- University education, and professional qualifications
- Employment history
- A personal statement of research interests, up to 500 words
- A document checklist: certificates, CV, photo identification and the registration fee receipt

Universities, colleges, research institutes and other institutions, applying as a Patron Institutional Member or an Institutional Member.

- Details of the institution, its establishment and its size
- The institutional membership category applied for
- An institutional statement of mission, vision and research interests, up to 500 words
- Signature of the institution's representative, and the official seal
