College of Fellows

Become a partner and champion of education research

COFs

The College of Fellows is an organization of the association's Fellows who make every effort to support it through many different pathways. Any Fellow in good standing has the status of member of the College.

Induction to the College is the highest honour the association bestows upon a member. Election to the College is considered the pinnacle of a career and the beginning of the professional's next phase, sharing expertise and knowledge as they continue to grow and expand their careers.

While it is an honour to be a member of the College, it is not an honorary organization. It is an active group of experienced professionals who enrich the profession by continuing to leave a significant footprint on the research practice and administration body of knowledge. A rigorous application and peer review process culminates in induction to membership.

The College actively encourages Fellows and others to participate in programmes and initiatives in the service of communities and research, including mentoring the next generation of researchers, volunteering expertise to underserved communities, leading initiatives within the association's chapters and divisions, and sharing knowledge with the research community, allied professionals and the wider public.

The College also seeks to stimulate a sharing of interests among Fellows, promote the purposes of the association, advance the profession of research practice and administration, mentor young researchers, and be of ever-increasing service to the research community.
