Tri-national programmes

Beyond membership, IARSA confers two tri-national fellowship awards recognised across the United States, Nigeria and Ghana — reserved for scholars of exceptional standing.

DFA — Doctoral Fellow of the Association

Tri-National Doctoral Fellowship

One of the association's highest distinctions, recognising individuals of outstanding scholarly research, administrative competence and significant contribution to their field at national and international level. It marks a lifetime of achievement and innovative leadership.

Who it is for

  • Nomination by peers, professionals, or self-nomination
  • A meticulous review of career accomplishments, research publications and leadership impact
  • Merit, impact and alignment with the association's values, assessed by a dedicated honours committee

Fees

Application $100 (non-refundable) · Fellowship $1,000 one-off

FCRSA — Fellow Certified Research Scholar & Administrator

Tri-National Fellowship

A combined, lifelong, high-level status across all three bodies for established leaders — offering international recognition, editorial and advisory roles, and collaboration across a network spanning more than twenty countries.

Who it is for

  • Established leaders with at least ten years of experience across research and practice
  • Notable achievements — patents, publications or major projects
  • Two nomination letters from current Fellows or executive board members

Application $100 (non-refundable) · Fellowship $450 one-off
