Founder & President, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria
A legal practitioner of more than sixty years' standing, who has trained over a thousand lawyers and produced fifteen Senior Advocates of Nigeria — the largest number from any chambers in the country — as well as several judges and attorneys general. Founder of Afe Babalola & Co, and of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti. Called to the Bar in England in 1963 after taking the University of London's LLB and BSc in Economics through its external system, and admitted to the Nigerian Inner Bar as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 1987. A member of the Body of Benchers, and a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
