Message from the Global President
Professor Ogunsakin-Akin Bosede writes to the association's scholars, administrators and partners.
Dear Scholars, Administrators, Partners, and Friends,
As Global President of the International Association of Research Scholars & Administrators (IARSA), it is my great pleasure to welcome all of you, scientists, researchers, institutional administrators, students, and friends of the international research community. IARSA is a well-established international academic association, facilitating cooperation in high-level education and research.
When we established this association over a decade, we set out with a clear, transformative vision: to dismantle the rigid academic silos that isolate researchers and to professionalize the back-office frameworks that keep global science moving forward. Today, IARSA stands as a premier cross-continental collective, operating as a single, legally compliant entity across our registered national hubs in the United States, Nigeria, and Ghana.
We live in an era where global challenges, whether in public health, economic policy, sustainable agriculture, or digital education, do not respect national borders. Solving these complex issues requires a diverse lens and robust infrastructure. At IARSA, we reject traditional top-down international research models. Instead, we champion symmetrical equity. Our American and West African teams work as co-equals, blending elite global standards with deep, frontline local expertise to ensure that our datasets are both scientifically rigorous and culturally relevant.
Over the past decade, we have proven that groundbreaking research cannot thrive without world-class administration. Through our signature Certified Research Scholar & Administrator (CRSA) program and our university modernization initiatives, we continue to train the registries, grant managers, and bursars who protect the ethical and financial integrity of international funding. We do not just collect data to sit on dusty academic shelves; we actively execute “Knowledge Translation,” converting complex empirical evidence into high-impact policy briefs that governments, NGOs, and corporate donors use to shape societies.
Whether you are an established professor, an early-career researcher, a policymaker, or an industry partner, you have a vital role to play here. Our commitment to you is to provide an inclusive, rigorous, and vibrant platform where your research can thrive, your voice can be heard, and your work can create tangible global impact. IARSA offers you an elite ecosystem built on absolute integrity, inclusivity, and accountability.
Through our upcoming international conferences, peer-reviewed publications, joint research grants, and professional development initiatives, we aim to redefine the boundaries of collaborative scholarship. I encourage you to actively engage with our national bodies, participate in our global working groups, and leverage the network of brilliant minds within this fraternity.
I invite you to explore our global platform, access our peer-reviewed journals, review our upcoming international conferences, and join our rapidly expanding network. Together, let us continue to bridge the gap between science and society, driving evidence-based transformation across continents.
IARSA is open to welcome new member universities and research institutes, enriching our network and bringing them in contact and cooperation with its members of the international research community.
Thank you for your dedication to the pursuit of truth, knowledge, and societal advancement. Together, across the Atlantic and beyond, we will shape the future of global research.
With highest regards,
Professor Ogunsakin-Akin Bosede, PhD, FCRSA
